What size projects does Lane Built Inc. take on?
It depends on scope, site and finish level, and we would rather give you a real number than a guess. Send us the lot and whatever drawings you have and we will put together a line-item budget for your project.
Do you work with our architect and designer?
Happily, and we'd rather come in early. If we're pricing the drawings while they're still being drawn, the design and the budget grow up together instead of colliding the week you file for permit.
Where do you build?
Loomis, Granite Bay, Rocklin, Roseville, Folsom and El Dorado Hills mostly, plus Auburn, Newcastle, Penryn and the greater Sacramento area. If you are a little outside that, ask; it depends on the job.
How long does a custom home take?
Usually 12 to 18 months of construction once the permit is in hand. Steep foothill lots, granite rock in the trenches, septic systems and long-lead finishes are what move that number, and we flag those before you sign anything.
How do you handle change orders?
In writing, priced, and signed before the work happens. If you change your mind mid-build, and most people do at least once, you'll know exactly what it costs and how many days it adds before we start.
